CHICAGO - 2050

Our world climate is changing right in front of our eyes, global warming caused by human activity (Green house gas emissions) is causing catastrophic changes in day to day climate with more severe fires, hurricanes, tornados, floods, heat, winters... The world humans built in the past 500 years is facing an existential crisis and it looks more an more difficult that we will be able to avert the escalation of this crisis... it will be World War III and more.  So we better get ready...

I have lived in and around Chicago since 1984... and while the outcomes of this global weather crisis has been somewhat kind to our city, I don't believe we will be spared the severe changes for much longer.  there is lots to learn from what's happening other large cities like New York, Los Angles, Houston, Miami, Seattle... which are all close to large bodies of water like Chicago. 

Here is how I visualized Chicago will be like in 30 more years (2050). 

- Lake Michigan will rage with higher levels (due to Icebergs melting in the north)

- there will be more severe weather, hotter summers & icier winters 

- Nature will reclaim its land & water border like it had 500 years ago

Driving away humans and other animals ... will we be ready for it?
